Settlement EvalHub (formerly Eval4Refugee)
2019 to 2025
The purpose of the Eval4Refugee initiative was to build evaluation capacity in the refugee sector across Canada, thereby improving supports and outcomes for refugee newcomers. This project has generated a plethora of online resources. In 2025, the website was revised to expand its reach and services for the settlement sector across Canada. The online resources can be accessed on the Eval4Settlement website.

The Evaluation Capacity Network is housed at the University of Alberta, primarily located on the territory of the Néhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), lands that are now known as part of Treaties 6, 7 and 8 and homeland of the Métis. The University of Alberta respects the sovereignty, lands, histories, languages, knowledge systems and cultures of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit nations.
