Kirsty is a research intern with the Evaluation and Capacity Network. She is doctoral student in School and Clinical Child Psychology. Her areas of interest include Indigenous parenting, child social-emotional learning and development, and the provision of evidence-based, strengths-based, family/child-centered, and culturally appropriate early intervention services.

The Evaluation Capacity Network is housed at the University of Alberta, primarily located on the territory of the Néhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), lands that are now known as part of Treaties 6, 7 and 8 and homeland of the Métis.
